Persib eyes more national team players

Persib eyes more national team players
Bandung soccer club Persib says it is looking to bring in more national team players in the form of Zulkifli Syukur and M. Roby.
“So far we are still waiting for a decision from Zulkifli and Roby,” Persib manager Umuh Muhtiar said Monday, as quoted by tempointeraktif.com.
Zulkifli, from club Arema (Malang, East Java) and Robi from Persisam (Samarinda) are both regular starters in the current national team.
They would be the latest of a host of national team players recently recruited by Persib, including M. Ilham, M. Nasuha and Toni Sucipto.
Umuh said that Persib was also close to reaching a deal with national team defender Hamka Hamzah.
“It almost happened, but it was eventually canceled,” he said.
Persib will not extend the contract of national team star Gonzales, who is set to move to Persisam.
